About Tilly Fox
Tilly Fox is an island-inspired artist whose vibrant work reflects a lifelong passion for colour and creativity.
Born in Madeira, Portugal, Tilly grew up surrounded by the warmth and intensity of tropical light — a lasting influence that continues to shape her artistic style.
In 1990, she moved to Guernsey seeking new experiences, before settling on the beautiful Isle of Wight in 2021 to be closer to family. The island’s dramatic cliffs, peaceful valleys and ever-changing coastal light now provide daily inspiration for her work.
Tilly’s love of painting began in her school years, where art quickly became her favourite subject. After further study and dedicated practice, she chose to pursue art professionally and opened her own studio — turning passion into purpose.

Inspired By The Isle Of Wight
The Isle of Wight, off England’s south coast, is an endless source of creative inspiration. From the dramatic southern cliffs to the quiet beauty of hidden valleys, the island’s shifting light and natural colours constantly influence Tilly’s palette and perspective.
Tilly’s paintings explore the interplay of light and shadow, the movement of the sea, and the tranquility of the countryside – always guided by a love of bold, uplifting colour.
