Four Sailboats

This original acrylic painting features four colourful sailboats drifting across peaceful blue waters, their reflections softly blending beneath them.

I created this piece on A3 acrylic paper using both palette knife and brushes to build texture and movement. The vibrant boats stand out beautifully against the calming sea and sky, while the reflections add depth and balance to the composition.

Reflections are one of my favourite elements to explore. I love how colour shifts and softens on the surface of the water, creating a sense of tranquillity while still feeling full of life.

Living on the Isle of Wight, I am constantly inspired by the sea and the changing coastal light. This painting reflects that love of island life and my passion for bold, uplifting colour.
